I just looked at the age of those contestants and theyre all pretty much my age now. In the game, contestants must stand in the play area and wait for a giant wall to slide towards them. After that, it became a goal of mine to participate in an ABC reality show. Brain Wall or Human Tetris as it’s colloquially known, is a segment from the strange Japanese gameshow Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okage deshita. I feel like that show really knew how to make the eliminations extra sad. I also remember Olga's elimination being very sorrowful. I remember Andrew being my favorite and I still remember the moment he got eliminated. ![]() ![]() I first watched it in 2008 when it first aired. The granddaddy of Japanese games shows as we know them is Takeshis Castle.Originally airing in the late 1980s, Takeshis Castle featured a massive squad of contestants competing in crazy games, like smashing themselves into walls, using their own bodies as living bowling balls, or dressing up as huge hands and slapping each other.
